I had someone send me the picture I’m posting.  It is likely the single most moving photograph I have ever seen in my life.  There are only three Federal Employees in this picture.  And what you see is some rain.

The story is that it was taken during Sandy.  So of course this hits my heart strings and I post it on FaceBook.

The question is why?

Why fake something like this?

I hoped it was real, knowing that fakes show up all the time.

So, what really happened?  We’re Marines there during Sandy?  I’d really like to know the truth.  I wonder if it’s a more interesting story?

But I still thank Marines that do their job when its just a little rain, even taking fire.
