I had an appointment at the V.A. today.  I had to go in a Federal building.  This means walking through a metal detector/having bag searched.  They located a dangerous weapon, and my Gerber multitool

The rules stated I had to take ONE of these back to my car.  Out of curiosity, which would you want the “rules” to protect you from being attacked by?

I kept my titanium spork, and walked the Gerber multitool back to the car.  I felt so safe knowing that a stabbing implement was allowed in a Federal building, but a cutting implement was not.  I’m sure there are no scissors anywhere in the building….
